National Pie Day!
January 23 is National Pie Day, according to the American Pie Council.
In developing PieChef.com I came across the web site of the American Pie Council. Imagine my delight when I learned that National Pie Day is January 23!
Here’s how their web site describes it:

"As part of our American heritage, this day is a perfect opportunity to pass on the love and enjoyment of pie eating and pie making to future generations.”
So I say, what better day to make a pie! If you’ve never made a pie, why not take a deep breath and decide to join the club on January 23?
